Interior Services

Keep interior decisions, site work and handover connected

Interior projects involve multiple linked decisions and contributors. Design approvals, finish samples, furniture deliveries, site access and specialist work can affect one another. Premark Group supports coordination across the agreed interior scope — helping clients keep track of responsibilities, pending decisions and the steps needed to move toward handover.

Our approach

Coordination begins with clarity

A project works better when each party understands what is being delivered, who makes each decision, how changes are recorded and what must happen before the next activity begins. Coordination should support communication; it does not remove the need for qualified designers, contractors or technical professionals to perform their own responsibilities.

What we help with

Coordination support may include

  • Breaking the agreed scope into workstreams and milestones
  • Tracking client selections, samples and approvals
  • Coordinating suppliers, installers and site access
  • Maintaining an action list for decisions and open issues
  • Flagging dependencies and schedule risks as they become visible
  • Coordinating snagging, rectification lists and handover records
  • Handover of available product information or maintenance guidance when supplied

Change + handover

Change control and a clear handover

Scope changes should be recorded clearly with the reason, cost or schedule implications if known, and the person approving the change; no change is treated as included until approved under the project agreement. The final stage should identify completed scope, outstanding items, keys or access devices, product information, manufacturer or contractor warranties and agreed maintenance instructions — following the contract and the nature of the space.

Useful information for coordination

  • Project location, stage and agreed scope
  • Stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Existing programme and important dates
  • Vendor or contractor list, if selected
  • Current open issues and pending approvals

Questions

Frequently asked

Does project coordination replace an architect or contractor?
No. Coordination supports communication and task alignment. Design, engineering, contracting and statutory responsibilities remain with the relevant appointed and qualified parties.
Can Premark coordinate multiple vendors?
Vendor coordination may form part of the agreed scope. The proposal should list which vendors, tasks and decisions are included.
Will every project include warranties and maintenance manuals?
Only the documents available and required under the project agreement can be handed over. Manufacturer and contractor warranties are subject to their own terms.
