Cleanroom Workwear Rental

Plan garment availability, collection and replacement as one coordinated service.

Managing cleanroom workwear internally can involve procurement, size changes, inventory, laundry coordination, garment condition checks, storage and end-of-life replacement. Premark Group helps customers organise these activities through an agreed rental and garment-management programme. We begin with your site and garment requirements, then define which items, service frequencies and records are appropriate for the scope.

In scope

What the programme may include

  • Garment supply and wearer/department sizing information.
  • Initial issue planning and agreed stock levels.
  • Scheduled collection and delivery windows aligned to operating shifts.
  • Garment processing, inspection and condition-based withdrawal, as included in the service.
  • Replacement and size-change coordination.
  • Available usage, inventory or processing records as confirmed at proposal stage.

How it works

How Premark scopes a rental programme

01

Understand your process, controlled area, site entry rules and garment specification.

02

Estimate the garment requirement using wearer count, shift rotation, change frequency and laundry turnaround.

03

Agree service inclusions, collection points, buffer stock, emergency escalation and reporting.

04

Start deployment after sizes, quantities, route and responsibilities have been confirmed.

05

Review the arrangement when headcount, shift schedules or operating conditions change.

Detail

What to include in your enquiry

To get a useful proposal, provide the site location, cleanroom or controlled-area class, industry, headcount by shift, garment types, size distribution if known, expected garment changes, any special processing requirements, delivery access and target go-live date. If you already have a gowning SOP or garment specification, share it for review.

Detail

Commercial model

Rental pricing should be based on the agreed garments, wearer or garment volume, processing and delivery frequency, replacement terms, consumables and special requirements. A defined scope helps both sides compare the cost of rental with the internal effort and stock investment involved in managing garments directly.

Questions

Frequently asked

Is the garment inventory owned by Premark?
The ownership, rental inclusions and replacement terms should be stated in the proposal or service agreement for the specific programme.
Can we change quantities when staffing changes?
Share expected changes with the account team. Quantity, lead time and pricing adjustments depend on available stock and the agreed contract.
Can we arrange a trial?
Premark can review whether a sample, pilot or staged onboarding is suitable for the garment and processing requirements. Availability must be confirmed.
How is buffer stock determined?
It should reflect wearer count, change frequency, processing turnaround, delivery reliability and the customer’s risk tolerance. The actual buffer level should be agreed, not assumed.
