Choose garments around your process, personnel and controlled-area requirements.
Cleanroom workwear is not a one-style-fits-all purchase. Selection depends on the controlled environment, the risk being managed, fabric and garment design, gowning procedure, wearer comfort, laundering requirements and customer specifications. Premark can discuss cleanroom garment options and prepare a proposed assortment based on the site’s needs and the items available for the required specification.

Garment specification checklist
Before issuing a rental request, prepare any existing garment specification, drawing or approved item list. If you do not have one, share the cleanroom class, activity performed, gowning method, contamination-control concerns and any quality-system requirements so that the right technical contact can help clarify the selection criteria. Final garment suitability should be confirmed by the customer’s quality/EHS team and technical suppliers where needed.
Detail
Do not select by cleanroom class alone
Room classification is one input, not the only selection criterion. A garment’s properties, processing compatibility and use instructions also matter. Premark should identify the actual garment specification offered; avoid describing a garment as “ISO-certified” unless that exact certification applies and can be substantiated.
